Sheila Bynoe (1919 – 2007) lived the last 46 years of her life in the village of Barford near Warwick. Widowed in 1970, she later moved to a smaller house in the village. Her family bought some Midwinter Stonehenge ‘Sun’ to compliment her new yellow kitchen. She loved it and used it daily for the next 30 years. Her daughter Sarah Akhtar feels sure Sheila would be tickled pink to know that one of her favourite dinner plates adorns the wall of the Potteries Museum
