I was interested in ceramics from a very young age. I grew up in Berkshire, but as a teenager I aspired to live in the Potteries, and moved to Staffordshire as soon as I could. I deliberately looked for a job here. I met, and eventually married a Staffordshire lad. As a wedding gift, our families arranged for a special dinner service made for us, by the company Repeat Repeat. I have donated a mug made by the company.

We still have the dinner service, although one or two pieces have broken over the years.
